Our Engineering company AquaSoli contributes to the buildup of an infrastructure supplying renewable energies by providing:
  • Economic calculations for projects with renewable energies
  • Development plans for power plants generating renewable energies
  • Foundation soil analysis and foundation engineering for power plants generating renewable energies (biomass plants, Photovoltaic power plants, wind energy plants)
  • Geotechnical consulting concerning microtunneling and stell pipe pressing e.g. for long-distance heating
  • Geotechnical planning of geothermical power plants

An integrated approach for: geotechnical survey, foundation design and field test concerning feasibility

a) Ground investigation
By direct exposures (bore and pit holes) as well as indirect methods (dynamic penetration tests as well as vane tests), plus test loadings and laboratory tests the building ground for projects of regenerative energies ist examined. AquaSoli generates a report, which is the basis for draft, proof and execution of a foundation which can be successful in technical and economical terms.

b) Foundation design
Photovoltaic power plants, bio-mass powerplants, water- and windpower plants (Fig. 4) need to have a foundation which is not only secure in technical terms but also economically reasonable. AquaSoli is able to deliver the complete geotechnical design and all necessary geotechnical proofs (Fig. 5).

c) Feasibility field test
The test driving of piles may deliver a first information about potencial obstacles and hindrances concerning pile driving.

Saving time and money. Reducing risks concerning feasibility, costs and delays /connection of the plant with the grid just in time."

Cost-benefit-analysis
By doing dynamic cost-effective analysis (Fig.4) and cost-benefit analysis we help our customers to compare the potential returns through investment in different project alternatives to gain renewable energies.

We homogenise the time course of primary investments as well as consequential costs and proceeds by discounting different szenarios regarding costs and proceeds considered in sensitivity analysis. Soft information is disputed and weighed to obtain a profound prognosis and an all-emracing and reliable basis for decision-making.

Development plans and aerial surveys
Considering public and private concerns as well as nature conservancy AquaSoli delivers development plans for projects of renewable energies. We also produce aerial surveys.

The era of cheap fossil fuels is coming to an end (fig.2). Engineering, government, the economy and households brace themselves for an increasing application of renewable energies (fig.3).

According to a study form the University of Heidelberg, Germany between 2030 and 2050 the point in time will come, when more than half of the world's required primary energy has to be covered by renewable energies.
